I picked about 1/2 gallon this morning. Hate to say it but there's a fresh raspberry pie sitting on the stove right now waiting to be cut.

A few years ago the birds must have "planted" some along a stockade fence in our yard. The berries are going absolutely crazy out there this year. Conditions must be perfect. The only ones I left were the ones still needing to ripen and the ones that were up an over the 6ft. fence that I could not reach. A lot more to come in the next few days.

I bought 31 pints yesterday at a produce auction. They were fairly abundant there.

Glad it is going well for you Bob. I had mulched my berries but with the low fall and early snowfall and then deep frost about half of my canes did not but this spring! First time I have had that ever happen. I can see there must be compensatory regrowth as the new canes coming for next year are about double the normal and they are reaching out further then ever from my two central rows.
