otterman trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 2,741 SW Alaska	Just as a forewarning to some of you looking a the remote properties a lot of them are surrounded by active trappers. I know the one in Bristol Bay Snake lake the lake has one active trapper at the upper end he has been trapping the area for over 30 yrs one trapper on the N side who has been trapping the area for over 15 yrs and one trapping the Lower end of the lake and the country towards the coast from there again for a long time the other side of the lake is open but is a straight up climb through a brush choked mess and the shore line is trapped by the trapper at the upper end, and no I am not one of the trappers. I guess the message here is just because you find the perfect property don't just assume that there is untrapped ground all around it Moving in on some of these long time trappers would possibly cause for some real confrontations and could ruin your entire experince. We get out of life only as much as we really want and work hard enough to achieve
