LOL Keith, I really tried to get through that one .....ok.....heres my speed....three of the finest melodic players on earth. Tony Trischka and Bella Fleck in the top two....
Although I used to play 5 string banjo in another lifetime it just is not compatible with voice. There is no doubt that it can drive a piece of music like a bass or bass guitar. But It really needs the modulation and sweetness of at least a guitar with it.

I just love every tune on this collection.....back in the Old Time Fiddle competitions in Weiser, I enjoyed these guys playing and many others. Just a sample of what human talent can accomplish ....
OK- one more and thats all One of my all time favorites of Grissman .......such talent is rare and amazing to hear, much less see in person. I have loved this tune for many years. Outstanding in every way .
OK one last one and that's all !! One of my faves !! I saw CJ Chenier at Antnones in Austin , Texas long ago!. Ever since then I wanted to stand on a corner in Lafayette, Louisiana and play zydeco !! Maybe someday!!

Love it ! Swaying to the waltz ....in the summer breeze on the porch ....each one chiming in with their part to play in turn ...nothin like the Cajun sound !
