Remember when Mickey Mouse boots were everywhere? You couldn't go into an Army Navy store without wading through piles of them. Well, I've spent hours on the net today trying to find a pair, in size 12W. It's like looking for the holy grail. I had a pair years ago and they, to this day, were the warmest boots I have ever owned bar none. I figured I would pick up another pair for Rifle season and long sits in the tree. Don't look like it's going to happen. There are plenty out there if you wear a size 7 or 9. Tell me, what grown man wears a size 7??? Good grief, I don't think I wore a size 7 since I was maybe 10 years old.

Shop for them in the summer. This time of year most Army/Navy type surplus stores are sold out. The white BATA boots are getting pretty hard to find at anytime, but summer is when most are not looking.

There's a place near me that might have some of the black ones. They're usually open on Sunday. I'll give em a call tomorrow and see... If I remember. Lol

We bought a pair of 11's and 9's off ebay within the past month, About 70$ shipped. Best cold weather boots I have ever used, unless you will be doing a lot of walking. And if you are you wouldn't need a boot as warm.

Have used them for ice fishing and stand hunting for about 30years, all the family and most friends now also have them.
