Red Gray Thats the deal right there. There are all kinds of differences , anatomically as well as colour. No contest , no matter what the colour phase is of a red.

I like the frosted rump fox. They look cool. Who cares what the fur market thinks?

Like Paul and Sharon pointed out, it's not just the color that makes it a gray or red fox.
They are different animals.
How they are built, behavior, ect.
