Thats the deal right there.

There are all kinds of differences , anatomically as well as colour. No contest , no matter what the colour phase is of a red.

I like the frosted rump fox. They look cool. Who cares what the fur market thinks?

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Like Paul and Sharon pointed out, it's not just the color that makes it a gray or red fox.

They are different animals.

How they are built, behavior, ect.

If we catch a red which isn't frosty rumped like yours, it is considered a freak of nature around here.

Color keys, typically reds have black legs, black tipped ears and white tail tip, Color can be almost any thing from - to-

Grey fox typically have a black tail tip and a dorsal stripe. Color on all I have seen were shades of grey with reddish necks and legs.

As foxes go the greys always appear cat like and the reds always appear dog like.
