Moyles for everything except plucked and sheared beaver, those go to Tubari in NJ Exactly. Tubari did outstanding work on my beaver hides, then Tassos of Excel Furs built my coat. Perfect.

Moyles for everything except plucked and sheared beaver, those go to Tubari in NJ I would never send anything to Tubari. Worst job, worst service and longest wait. They chemical burned the fur on my beaver. Looks severely singed. That took a full year and now after two years I have given up on ever seeing the nutria I sent. Also they seemed to not be able to track your order.

The guy who oversees the operation is from Canada, and he explained their process to me. They hand pluck their furs, no machines...and yes the waiting is a while, but was worth it. At least thats who was in operation and how they worked back then.

Bruce, The only problem is that Tubari's is the only place in the US that plucks and shears; please correct me if I'm wrong, I'd like to know of an alternative. There used to be a place in Quebec City, Quebec but I think they are out of business.

Leo at Z&L in Newark N.J ! Great work and quick turnaround time! You may not know this, but Leo from Z&L is a middleman and sends his pelts straight to Tubari. Tubari does a great job, though. just an FYI, Tubari may have better rates direct. w
