I'm fairly new to snare building...well, I'm 100% new to actually building snares. I have all the equipment, parts, and pieces to build my own. Is there anywhere out there that shows good diagrams or tutorials? I've searched around and it's mostly people showing how to make survival snares and on Youtube, nobody really goes into detail. It's just "You need this, this, this and this, then put them together!" Any help would be awesome, thanks!

If there are no trappers in your local council willing to show you the ropes,I would buy a few dozen different types snares ready made to try out on your line to see which ones are good for your methods of snaring, which locks, wire, etc etc. Then use the ones you find works best as templates to make your own.No use making up a couple hundred snares only to find out later that another configuration of lock wire etc works better.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
