Talk about crooks siphoning off money from a charity... The POTUS will just use the gofundme money to build a statue of him self bigger than the one they build in India. Then hire fair haired maidens to polish it with their hair.. I voted based on Mexico paying for the wall not tax dollars or donations from the public. Another diversion in another direction..go figure!
Maybe the people right where the wall is might see a difference. I seem to remember a little thing called Mariel Boat Lift..Them folks ended up here in WI and there were bad people.. So build a wall they build an Arc.

Well if ya consider the new Agreement that replaced NAFTA, Mexico is kinda sorta paying for the wall. I say who cares as long as it's built!
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

You're wrong about the population thing. Replacement fertility rate is 2.11 births per woman (BPW). That covers two people replacing themselves, the .11 covers infant mortality and such. In 2010 the fertility rate was 2.10, now it's down to 1.8 BPW. Our population will decline unless we can keep the fertility rate above 2.11 BPW, that's just a fact that cant be disputed. That's very bad for a lot of things, like social security and our economy to name a few. I'm doing my part with 5 kids  That is today, that can change in a minute. You should try to make it last more than a minute.....

I have walked or ridden a four-wheeler from Yuma, AZ to almost El Paso, Texas. This was during 2008, when GW started constructing the last border wall, and then Obama got elected and canceled it all. Two 8 year administrations and nothing happened to fix the problem. Neither side want the problem fixed, and both are selling the American people down the toilet.
I have been there and seen first hand what is going on along our southern border. I have spent days in the mountains around Sasabe, Douglas, AZ, and Antelope Wells NM. Also a lot of time in Naco and Nogales. What is going on along the border is an absolute joke. We have no idea who is coming in this country. Illegals run across at night like cockroaches, mules and smugglers smuggle drugs and people across through the mountains 24 hours a day. The politicians and most of the country don't want to know the atrocities that happen along our southern border daily. Its shameful.

Govt can accept private donations for such things.
Thing that scares me is who would actually be receiving cash? We just lost house (Treasury) and I think Nancy would have control of funds?
The land if not already owned by govt would just be taken through some sort of act or donated? You'd be wrong if you think that. Yes the federal treasury can accept gifts of cash but the funds can ONLY be used to pay down the public debt. It would still require an act of Congress to fund the wall (or anything) with an amount equal to the gift. The House of Representatives has nothing to do with the US Treasury...........which is part of the Executive branch. Any land not already owned by the federal government will have to go through the eminent domain process.
