Make a walk-thru nearby, leave that one alone. It will make you a more rounded trapper if you don’t become 1-dimensional, try a little trap bedding and concealment along with the “exposed” set.

build another set, any location worth one set is worth 2. That way non targets don't shut you down. I would pull that trap back a foot and fence each side of the trap, w / more guide sticks around trap. I like my flag behind the trap, all my attractors behind the trap. If a cat is curious about your tinsel flag he can check it out w/out ever crossing the trap. That is no good. Cats aren't always interested in smells or bait, so shouldn't be solely relied on to bring them across the trap. My cubby sets look similar to your set but I fence it off to look like a diamond instead of a V.
Round here I can catch a cat every other day running 20 sets using the set above and walk throughs. Main thing is to set right on top of sign cause it is hard to pull them more than 10-20 yrds. IMOH
