Every one is born toxic. There are no good people. It's called sin. We have to be taught what is right behavior. I never even paid attention to skin color in the commercial. There is only one race as far as I'm concerned.
You might not pay attention to race, but Gillette obviously did. See many minorities in these toxic men???

I said it on page one: Anybody else notice that all but one of the bullies and sexist pigs were white and the majority of the enlightened heros were not? The message here is clear. Even if PAskinner can't, or won't, understand it.

Ya know, the most surprising thing to me is that Gillette is still in business after all these years, I tried their safety razor blades in high school and the throw away some years later and the Foamy stuff a couple times; every Gillette product I ever tried in 50 years of dealing with facial hair was at best inferior. Did they change or are there just that many people that have soft whiskers?
>and yes I noticed the racism in the video, but we expect that don't we?

I can see that happening in Yaak ! I don't know what would be worse. The yanking of hair by the roots or the specter of that saw coming towards your head. Who would be dumb enough to be disrespectful in a crowd like that ? !
White, back then the local folks were a bit jumpy as a guy at a fire tower had been dismembered by a group of devil worshipers. From time to time you would see them along the road in remote places, their faces were painted white. Folks from California were already streaming in, yep way back then. I stagged my pants, wore suspenders and chewed Copenhagen just so as to fit in. Refined my poker playing skills and learned to like whiskey too. I never met a finer group of people than I did there, if you were a decent person yourself you did not have to look for a friend, they were right there. Zim

What grinds my gears about most commercials and tv shows nowadays, is that all men are portrayed as stupid and inept. My dad griped about this when I was a kid... Remember the Robitussin commercial where mom is sick in bed... And dad shows off how he ironed his shirt, but scorched the back of it, and then he and the kids wreck the house? Most commercials and sitcoms portray men as bumbling morons who can barely tie their shoes... Especially if they're white heterosexuals. Mike

Zim
Yes sir, Zim, there are lots of folks in the area who would be there to help out if needed . Thats just how the folks are at every gun range in this area, as well as others I know. Good down home regular people , polite, friendly, and true to the west, believe in an armed society being a polite one. Those strange ones are never even heard about . I haven't and Ive been here a while and know many locals that were born here. Must have been like that one fella, and pestered the wrong folks Maybe that helped the wrong folks from moving in, too ..... Many from CA moved away, as back then, the summers were wet and very cool and often cloudy....hence the huge conifers that grace the area to this day. Not the hot sun climates they expected. Lots of woods, mountains, sleepy little towns here and there.... The best of both worlds

Mike If minorities or women were portrayed the way white, heterosexual men typically are portrayed in commercials, the liberals would go insane. Most of the greatest inventions off all time were invited by white men. We are now supposed to be ashamed of acknowledging that fact. Keith

Do you really believe that they would spend that kind of money to target such a small percentage of population that fills the bill of bullying and "gropers"? Is it small? No I believe they are targeting the majority of people, who they would assume would agree with this message no matter what their political affiliation, or religion, etc. Apparently they underestimated how angry and confused the majority is. Gillette, it’s for pussies. Don’t forget to shave your (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman)...cat.

I shave my face about once a week, around the whiskers. Seem to be a lot of ultra sensitive males on here that are offended that I'm not offended. Kinda amusing when you think about it. But, find your safe space and hug your teddy bears for awhile and you'll feel better.
