So I was looking at the "Outlander" series of Can-Am Atv's..They look like they are well built Atv..I have never owned one. The guy was telling me that the Can-Am is making it's way in the Atv world and is dominate over Polaris in 2019 for the first time ever..I sure it's about sales talk but might be true..Anybody own one..rode one?
I can catch them here...I can catch them ANYWHERE

I bought my Can-Am 500 Outlander in 2007 and love it. I've never had any problems with it at all. The HP is shocking and the ride is great, it's the best riding ATV that I've ever rode on.

I have a 2003 Can Am outlander 400 and a 2002 Polaris about the same size. The outlander rides better than the Polaris but is hard starting in cold weather. Overall its a toss up in my opinion.

Your 2003 Can-Am is carbureted, in 2008 they are all became fuel injected eliminating cold starting problems and instant throttle response.

Way to stay on topic. I like my Polaris...2005 400 Sportsman I wish I could afford a New ATV ...I would look around But Cost is the big thing , That , Auto shifting, and Reliability. ...so Though I might look, what ive had with this Polaris 400 would probably be the deciding factor.

My can am starts just fine in -0, I do not like riding it on those days lol , but starts just fine. It's got a good ride , so far this trapping season put on a 1000 miles. Because it was to wet and muddy for a pickup. Now to much snow for pickup in places to get to cat traps so back on wheeler. No chains on it yet goes good. In 4 wheel low it will use some gas on a 850. Reason for size if you are looking to might go put tracks on it your better off with a 650 or better.

BomBardier is a Canadian dealership that bought out the Can Am name which used to make off road vehicles. They have taken over the atv industry. Polaris in the last ten years has switched their gears more towards the motorcycle luxury side. Quality wise you aren't gonna go wrong with a Can Am.
