Here's a question to ponder. Think about it for awhile and then answer. For this exercise, you HAVE to time travel. You could go back in time (any time) or forward in time(any time) but could only do it once and have to stay and live there. (you can take your family) Which would you do? Just for kicks, if you could give a short reason, and your age. I have a theory on what the different ages will say.

I would go back to 1969 when I met my wife.

Hopefully I would be as young as then.

Easy peasy, I would go back to 1880 and get to know my great great GPA who was born in 1860. He lived up to the late 1940's before a brush fire took him out. It would have been imo the best time to be here in America. I would have loved to lived the life he lived from a very rural Kentucky log cabin with no plumbing or electric, to seeing cars, planes and relatively safe coal mines. The first time I seen one of the only pictures of him I knew we were Kinsmen. He never had any luxuries like indoor plumbing and electricity, but that was mostly by choice. I can only imagine the scenery and freedom he must have felt! Have no interest in the future, period!

Part of my family is my dog and my rifle, so I'm assuming I could take them along on the adventure. I'd be looking at about 15,000 years ago in North America, toward the end of the Pleistocene. With a modern weapon, imagine hunting Superbison, woolly mammoths, sabre-toothed cats, cave bears, and perhaps trapping a few 600-lb beavers. No other humans to deal with. I know I'd be a happy camper...

I would travel forward in time to 2364 and live on the Star Ship Enterprise (TNG). The hunting, trapping and fishing on the holodeck would be fantastic! Red fox would sell for $95.00 a piece!

I bet that doesn't fit with your theory? grin

Eh...wot?

Born in 1758. Then old enough to serve in our greatest war. More importantly to still be young enough to help form the greatest nation in the history of civilization.

Actually if i kept my current age ( 51 ) i would be dead before ever having to see the anti American president and his extremely racist tranny wife. ( A blessing )...... Carter is nothing compared to these two

Its a scary thought to go back in time 100 years or more. Too many simple things which will cause you to die. Modern medicine of today is taken for granted.
I guess I would have to choose going into the future 100 years or more and hope that if the plague which kills all or most of the human race has passed and is lo longer viable.

80's were ok.
Girls my age had tight butts and nice legs for the most part.
The chubby ones were few n far between

Total opposite of what is seen today.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

I’ve got a series of books about the bear hunting in the Mississippi Delta post civil war . I think that’d be quite the life.
