Have seen and been back stage with Leo Kottke, John Mayer and a couple of others. Not a big concert fan though, just personal connections.

Ronnie Milsap 3 times (one of the opening acts was Alabama),George Straight twice in a bar when he was just getting started, Willie Nelson, John Denver, Johnny Rivers, Conway Twitty, The Judds, Journey, Pat Benatar, The Gatlins (with the Dallas Philharmonic Orchestra as backup), Elton John, Martina McBride, Little Big Town, and a few others.

Coolest was David Allen Coe, he did a show in a little bar in Natchez, there was no stage, he sat on a stool at the bar and played. There was only about 50 of us there that night, it was a hoot.

Saw the Lennon Sisters at a Boy Scout Jamboree on the the grounds of the future AF Academy. Dwight Eisenhower was president and he was on same stage.

You kids on here probably never heard of the Lennon Sisters.

About ten years ago I saw George Jones and Merle Haggard.

Having grown up outside DC, shows were often and we'd run up to Philly or down to Richmond or Hampton Rds for shows..during the 70's and early 80's.
Heck, tickets were only $6.50-$15

Averaged at least 3/mo

So EVERY yr for bout 5 yrs I'd see:

Allman Bros
CSNY
CSN
Marshall Tucker
Charlie Daniels
The Outlaws
Ted Nugent
Rolling Stones...back when REO Speedwagon was their warm up band
Judy Collins
Joan Armatrading
Steve Stills
Grateful Dead
Molly Hatchet
Ozark Mtn Daredevils
Loggins & Messina (my friend Ted Eby was their sax player during the 80's)
Robin Trower
Peter Frampton
BB King
Root Boy Slim
B-52's
Earl Klugh
Roy Orbison & Travelling Wilbury's
Bob Seeger
Tom Petty & Heartbreakers
Yellowjackets
Hiroshima
George Benson
Bachman Turner Overdrive
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Cheap Trick
Muddy Waters
Foghat
Steve Miller Band
ZZ Top
America
Fleetwood Mac
Styx
Eric Carmen
Pure Prairie League
Firefall
Christopher Cross
Santana
Little Feat
Doobie Bros
Grand Funk RR
Eric Clapton
Eurythmics
James Taylor

I'm SURE I forgot some, too
