I used downhill skies... A resale shop or Goodwill would be a good place to start. Ask friends- a lot of people have them laying around.

Posco- I used Bosch Rex Roth, It's an extruded aluminum product that has unlimited fastener options, extremely light weight and strong. It's an Erector Set for adults, I had a bunch I bought at an auction, it's expensive new but you could use wood or aluminum channel from a junk yard as a substitution.

Yesterday made a beach cart for the cabin- I'm about out of the extrusion material but it's awesome to work with. It's used in manufacturing - for machine guards, workstations and enclosures if you can find it, it's sweet.

I have welded a couple together that I made from metal conduit. Just have to smash the ends with a hammer to weld them to the side of another piece of pipe. Very inexpensive and light.

Spot on Gary... I prefer a 60-80 tooth blade, if you're cutting a lot of aluminum, I like to wax the blade to prevent build-up.
