1936 Remington Model 41 Targetmaster single shot rifle... or my Nylon 66 in Mohawk Brown (Not a PC color) I have a Nylon 66 in Forest Green, my father bought it for me from a Doctor, I was mowing his lawn. When my father paid for it, the Doctor's wife handed me the money and told me to buy some ammo. I was one pretty excited young man for sure!

Ruger Mark II, its been with me on the trapline, afield and on the range for over 38 years... I use a ruger single six.Great gun.I had a Mark II but gave it to one of my sons for his trapline gun.The Mark II is the most accurate .22 pistol going In my experience. Same here! Mine is the Target Model with a 6-7/8" barrel, can shoot a nearly ragged hole at 25 yards every time.

I got my single six in the 60s and have used it ever since. No transfer bar and a lot of holster wear, but serves me great. Don't like the semis as I don't want spent casings near my sets and just use shorts. Cant see why anyone would want anything with more power for a fur gun. for years it was a single six but my old eyes and open sights no longer go together. so i switched to ruger mark iv. got the model that specifically comes with the rail attached and factory threaded for suppressor. opted for red dot style sight. not sure its the most accurate in that configuration but i can hit things with it that could no longer do same with single six. i too had trouble getting use to the spent brass hitting the ground but eventually kinda got over it

Palmetto State Armory Colt replica .22 made by Walther a downsized version of a 1911, I just ordered one will see what it's like. My buddy has a Lima scaled down 1911 that I really like! $250.00 free shipping

heritage rough rider. max effective range on that is about 4 feet. it seems to be getting less and less accurate. probably should clean it some time this decade.
