I haven't gone out but saw a nice buck yesterday with both sides still on. It is funny when the big ones lose their antlers and try to still show dominance over the others. The smaller bucks will still give them some respect but not as much.

Went for about an hour today and found 2, one was a matched to a shed I found last week a half mile away, still seeing several holding both and watched 2 nice bucks sparring Saturday

Cool pic Jeff, always wanted to hunt for moose sheds, PCR2 that green stuff is a local golf course , I find several every year in it. Seems it's about the only grass the have in the mountains and they really pile in it this time of year

I had the dog and the granddaughter out last weekend looking for sheds. We didn’t find any but we had an enjoyable time.

Yea lugnut, that's one of my favorite things to do is take my kids out shed hunting and mushroom hunting

Lugnut Does your Lab find and retrieve antlers or just find them. I have a dog ;not a Lab that finds any that I plant for her to find .But she only picks them up when she feels like it

Might wear yourself out walking through the snow looking for any sheds right now around here. I saw 2 bucks from the back window at work Monday late afternoon at about 175 yards. The both still had both sides of head gear on. Medium-small bucks.

I’ve worked on fetching antlers with him somewhat. But I spend most of my time refining his hunting and game retrieving skills. When we’re out in the woods he’s mostly looking for birds to flush and I don’t think he has much interest in antlers, he has never found one.

Too bad its illegal to snare bucks and sell them to shooting pens. This would be the time of year to do it. I don't know why its illegal. Does are all bred. It would have no effect on the population. Does can easy be cut loose unharmed also

It's basically a fun romp in the woods for us. Other than the ones I plant for my granddaughter, we hardly ever find any. We find enough other stuff to keep it interesting.

We found a fox den, bear tracks, which are rare for this area, and this dead yearling last time out.

i've got half a dandy and its killin me to find the other side.would be neat to rattle him up this fall with his own antlers.
