3rd line of defense-judicial branch.
4th line of defense-state government.
5th line of defense-county sheriff.
6th line of defense-your firearms.
Go down that list and cross of what you believe will be ineffective where you reside and that's how close we/you are. Then think in terms of a dem controlled federal branch and do it again and that is how close we/you may be in the near future. Some states are already there...so if you live there you can eliminate all of those defenses.....

So my 10/22 15 round detachable would become illegal, but the 10 round detachable for same gun is legal? And my SKS with basket clip non-detachable holding 10 or less is fine? Who writes this stuff??? OMG. Jim  Not the way I interpret it 10/22 is NOT a military style rifle.

Per the article, a separate bill would categorize rifle caliber pisols (things like AR-15 "pistols") and any semiautomatic rifle with a detachable magazine as NFA items, requiring the long background check and $200 tax stamp. Good luck with that....it's just grandstanding by democrats. It's empty threats/promises so they can go home and tell their constituents that they tried to do something, but those evil republicans wouldn't play along. GOOD and keep it that way Too!

Well I have about 200 USGI mags I need to sell when the price goes crazy! LOL Haha then buy them back when they drop. Before Obama got re-elected I made a number (not going to state the number) of AR-15s. At the time I was making a couple every year to sell. I figured that goof Romney had no chance to win (he was a horrible candidate) so I jumped production. The gun control scare made my guns worth 3 times as much, and the Korean drums I was selling with them went for 4 times as much. It was a good year. But then the scare went away and I decided I had enough AR-15 lowers registered to my name. The gun registry probably thinks I’m supplying a small army haha. Haha if the government every passed something where they could confinscate ARs and were able to find some brave enough individuals who agreed with the new law to come take the guns, they are going to be confused when they only find 2 haha.
If traps work like the Antis say......I would have no fingers.

I’d bee good still. New Frontier Amory (owned and operated by war vets) creates lowers (both 80% and fully completed) for all kinds of traditional pistol loads. 9mm, 40, 45, 38, and 357. They would have to totally outlaw all pistols, shotguns, and rifles to get rid of the AR platform gun. Plus the gun can easily be made. Good luck extreme libtards
