gdccowboy, build shed bigger than you think you need. Do some thinking & planning. I planned a porch on my fur shed and happy I did. I can do sanding or painting under porch in the off season. Also sit, take break and have a beverage on porch.

Check out the LED lights. I feel they are better then the fluorescent lights. I replaced a fluorescent with LED and like it. Am going to replace all lights in shed with LED.

Mine isnt real big, around 14x40 I think but it has heat, water, and a floor drain. I would love to have more space but it is fairly efficient and works for my needs. I mostly buy carcass coyotes these days.

These pics are a little old. I have added several more freezers since then and upgraded the skinning machine base after a wolf came of the gambrel and tore my old base off the wall smile The new base is tied directly into a beam that I have running the width of the building. I have a room above the shop with a couple gun safes and I was having nightmares about finding my safes in the fur room one day smile

I only had a 9' ceiling so I also boxed in an enclosure that could get my winch up into my attic area. Gives me 14' from floor to ceiling. Plenty enough for coyotes, wolves and deer. A little short for pulling elk.

Hey, Brooks, what is are the blue ear tags about on the carcass coyotes? How about the red ones on the finished ones? You have a real nice set up. Lots of good ideas there!

I do a little custom skinning for the guy with the blue ear tags. The orange ones are how I keep track of what I paid for each pelt. I skin everything at the shop but these days I outsource the put up so it helps keep them straight at my processor(s).
