I got a question and need help with it. Got all my snares rounded up and stored them in zip lock bags for the offseason. Now do I need to dye them every year the same as leg holds? Or is just once in a snares lifetime good enough? I did dye the same bunch of snares 2 straight years one time and they were considerably slower.

If I do anything, I would full metal jacket them. Snares won't slow down unless you get corrosion in the cable(which normally isn't visible till it's too late).
