How does chaga tea taste?

I drink it with a powder when we use it I mostly harvest to make money but I respect the resource and we never over harvest chaga takes years and years to grow to a good size chaga.

Hutchy about summed it up. I looked at Sloan Kettering website and WebMD website. Both have positive laboratory and mouse/rat studies listed. Just Google chaga benefits and plenty should come up to read. Years ago Cassie tea (or 4 herb tea) became known for its ability to shrink tumors among users. I became lactose intolerant when I was about 52. I made the tea in batches of about 4 quarts and drank for about 2 tears. I am no longer lactose intolerant. This tea was an old Indian formula from Canada. The big thing is both are believed to slow or stop cancers, along with many other benefits when used preventively. Some of the chaga benefits I saw listed were helping to lower blood pressure, inflammation relief, stabilizing blood sugar (not recommended for people taking insulin), lowering HDL cholesterol, etc. But , yes, the always present needs human studies to confirm. I don't think the world has enough chaga if the researchers could prove it stopped cancers. The big thing with both of these are that they are loaded with anti-oxidants.
Anyone can find out about 4 herb tea at The Herbal Healer website. It tastes pretty good.

I tried Googling The herbal healer website and it just seemed like they had products to sell not a tea recipe for Chagas?

I know there are many natural teas that have benefits. I have harvested and had Labrador tea before, and I just found a huge patch of it. The Heath benefits of Labrador tea are less studied, but there is some benefit...

I am thinking of making a mixture and try that. Could even throw some green tea leaves and play with tastes and flavors a bit.

I’m the eternal skeptic on these things. I have also google searched about Chaya and found similar everything but large scale human studies type stuff. The end result was there was no evidence that it can hurt you.

Teacher, just to avoid confusion chaya is tree spinach. It is used as a supplement for blood sugar support. In winter,we keep a teapot on the back of the wood stove. I keep a handful of chaga chunks about 1" in size brewing 24/7. I break it up with a hatchet by placing a block of wood in a clean cooler. The cooler catches all the flying pieces. We have a cup whenever we want and refill the pot with water. When the color of the tea gets light in color we replace the chunks with fresh. In warm weather,I brew up batches in a slow cooker on low heat. It is about 180* for six hours. I do enough to fill a 2 gallon jug and a 1 gallon jug and refrigerate. It is refreshing when drank cold and seems to have a different flavor than when hot. I swear sometimes I taste a hint of maple sap in it when it is nice and cold.

I hope thats Not the Same Labrador that Cheech and Chong talked about. LOL!

330, Herbal Healer sells the ingredients for a person to make their own 4 herb tea. Ingredients will be delivered in small ziplock bags sized for making about 2 gallon batch. I just use about half each time for making approximately 4 quarts. She is extremely picky about supplying top grade ingredients to her customers.

If you mean the cancer free guy, it is awesome. He is an older fella who worked his whole life for trappers here in Ontario. Responsible for a good part of our current trap cabin policy which is incredible. Heck of a guy
