So, I read on the truth about fur website, (https://www.truthaboutfur.com/blog/fur-bans-arent-really-bans/) that the so called bans in California aren't really bans at all, because the cities don't have the power to ban something that is under wildlife management control. Does anyone know if this would apply to New York city? If so, couldn't the furriers actually sue the city for trying to enforce a ban on them that isn't even lawful? Anyone know?

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Dirtydogtrapping - I'm not sure your comment has any relevance to the OP's question. Would you care to explain.

All I can is the DNR has been more on terms of not getting hung by the mob rather then putting their foot down.

You may think before you act. The question is did you listen to your own council?

Ok, so as far as I can tell it's a city ordinance in LA. Still don't know if it would really be enforceable if taken to an honest court. You can still wear fur bought outside of LA. And get this, sell fur caught in CA legally. How the heck do they know where the fur is caught?

Ask Boco about trace ability. Think he's the forum expert. whistle
