on the iowas stakes I did a back bevel, and then for the driver while on the lathe I cut a corresponding groove for the anchors back bevel to ride in. I am thinking it should resolve the problem.

Not much pulling disposable stakes in real frozen ground lol
I can get them in , ,,, it's the pulling I found a bit rough lol
