All the way to Orlando. Was just going to Gatlinburg but we hit a sale that made Disney cheaper by several hundred dollars

If you're hungry when you get to 218 take the exit turn left, go to the light after after the ramp turn left towards Lowes/Walmart. Fried Tomato Buffet on the right across from the Cracker Barrel. Trust me you won't regret it.

Time your trip through Atlanta either middle of the night or between 10 and 2 during the day. You want to be south of 675 no later than three. Take 475 around Macon, the 16 split is narrow and the road rough. Watch your speed south of Macon, Dooly county is one big speed trap and they'll haul your butt to the jail to post bond if you're from out of town.

Good luck if you are traveling 75. Bet 100 bucks you run into a stand still traffic jam. Construction at Mt Vernon Ky wreck every hr after they get one cleaned up...... If you can avoid 75

I know the place and have heard good things but never eaten there. Main reason is its just off the square.
The square is a typical small town southern square of a one block city park/confederate monument courthouse on one side. Unfortunately situated in one of the fastest growing metro counties with five US and State highways intersecting through it. Needless to say traffic is horrible. I tell folks that if General Hood really wanted to stop Sherman he would've dug in at the McDonough Square and they'd still be there today.

BTW, Hampton St and Jonesboro Rd leading to the square from the interstate have been rerouted and it's still a mess.
