Do you suppose every sheriff in the USA can interpret the Constitution the way he prefers?

Jim

I believe that Sheriff has as much right to interpret the U.S. Constitution as the Virginia legislature does. In the past, civil disobedience has been used with honor and integrity. Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King for example, and Thomas Jefferson wrote "The Theory of Civil Disobedience" regarding rebellion, revolution, and the Constitution with a different twist than the first two historical figures I mentioned. Maybe Henry David Thoreau summed it up best with this excerpt from his paper on Civil Disobedience by stating, "Citizens must disobey the rule of law if those laws prove to be unjust".
