I shoot every one of those that I see. I would have a hard time stopping myself from doing so out of season, in front of the game warden.
They are not good for the herd.

Interesting the way the modern age has the two legged animals trained to think about what they would not do. In the Kennedy era it was thinking about all the things that a human could do if they could dream it. Someday a thread should appear in what you would like to shoot. For me, I would go for a Caudipteryx, a dinosaur bird thing. Find a box of John Olin's Lubaloy BB's in 12 gauge and wonder if it would be better fried in a Wagner #8 or in BBQ.

There are several species game and other wise that I would not plan to shoot or hunt.

You right on that I feel the same way. Song birds and birds of prey are protected by fed law. They are out from any shooting. Any other thing that is protected other wise, cats are fair game if out in the woods or trap line.
