Bad weather conditions over the last few weeks, health issues both for family and myself,and several answers to what else can go wrong . I really did not want to know but found out anyway have got me to a place I have not been since about 1990. After the fur crash in 1987 there was a year or two that I did not trap because I had no local dealer to sell to and I did not know about the big fur sale houses back than . So I will not be checking traps tomorrow morning. I miss it already .It was always a great day to be out .Nearly every year I have the whole world to myself .Some year I would have special catch on a special day .Some years my traps where all empty .I still loved the solitude that was always part of the morning because it was so peaceful on a day about Peace on Earth Best wishes to all those checking traps or not . And may we all be grateful for the blessings and friends that we have . I really hope to get started before the end of this week .Most years I consider this week a little past the half way point .I guess this year I mat y be skip over some parts of my normal line and just hit some of the easier places to access
