this exactly ^^^^^ its the flu,a different strain that's it, people die every year in the US ,thinking about 2500. old folks and sickly are going to get it bad and they will not be able to fight it. its not a plague ,BTW you all shroud have been buying up stocks valued at half yesterday instead of Lysol.
Soooo, I was once a young strapping dude, does that make my life worth less than that young guy that can fight it off easy? You will get old one day too!
I was also. 63 in April. I'm still not fearing the pandemic hype to kill the economy.

I've got ten on you. Saw a statistic that showed an increase for people in their seventys, and a much larger increase in their eighties. I feel good, still trap hard, but don't have the stamina that I had ten or more years ago. I also have diabetes, service connected, that gives me another hit on my chances! I am gonna take this a bit more seriously that a lot of you, because of those factors. Am I worried about the economy, not one bit. The thing that worries me the most is getting some gun grabbing communist in the white house! Outside of that, I'm good!

As of a couple hours ago the World Health Organization declared it a "Pandemic".
I have nothing clever to put here.

No doubt lots of hype and fear built into this current situation. Way more nervousness than remember with anything that I recall with likes of SARS, MERS, H1N1. BUT I also suspect that few if any of the people I've seen posting here on T-Man about covid 19 in the last couple weeks have had any casual let alone direct connection to it. Pretty easy to have cavalier attitude about it when its just something showing up on the local news or social media. May not be the scariest thing ever and wouldnt get too worried but get back to us after you are in a little closer proximity to it. Suspect you likely make some modifications your thoughts With you also another intelligent comment

They are talking about closing classes at UK and UL . Also the state government is wanting churches closed. ohio state closed yesterday. Michigan State University announced this morning that essentially closing. All in-person classes suspended just two plus days after students returned from spring break
