In case you have not already heard, Lynn Keogh and his father received the prestigious honor of being Trappers of the year. This is Randy Zanke's email.

With the cancellation of The Fling, we lost our public opportunity to announce the winner of the Fabian Carey Trapper of the Year award. This year’s recipients live in the Anchorage area, so I was planning to go down for their Chapter meeting last night to make the presentation. Guess what … the meeting was cancelled. I decided that a phone call was the only timely means to notify the winners. A few minutes ago, I got off the phone with Lynn Keogh, Jr. He and his father (Lynn, Sr) were chosen to receive ATA’s highest honor.

After recovering from the initial shock, Lynn spent the next ten minutes talking about ATA business, rather than dwelling on the award. He’s a real “trooper.”

Feel free to give Lynn a call (398-1803) to congratulate him yourself.

Life is hard. It's even harder if your stupid!
