No doubt in my mind that is a coyote with the mange. It's cleared up a lot around here, but the last couple years it seems there is still about 15% of the coyotes that have it to some extent. Used to see a lot more coyotes that looked like that one around the feedyards in the winter time. They liked to get in the silage piles or bale stacks for the mice and heat.

Here is one that I put down a few years ago. It is not the worst one either. There were two or three worse than that one, over the years.

I have to disagree with coyote. It is built more like a red fox. The neck is too thin to be a coyote.
