New York Governor Andrew Cuomo refuses an offer from Remington Arms Co. Remington offered to tool up to manufacture Ventilators for the government after Cuomo issued an order to confiscate ventilators from upstate hospitals and have them delivered to NYC. Cuomo indicated no interest in accepting any offer from any gun manufacturer. POLITICS BEFORE PUBLIC SAFETY ??????? That's a pretty deep seated hatred. it also indicates his regard for upstate New Yorkers.

Upstate NY does not support him. So The only way Cuomo would not be re-elected in NY, is if 50% of the population of NYC died from covid19 .
I am not advocating for that to happen, but there are 7-8 million fools in NYC.

You are 100% correct. Upstate NY is beautiful. There is so many nice places to visit. Fishing , hunting, trapping galore.
NYC on the other hand......trapping rats.....hunting is human upon human....well at least they have the Fulton fish market.

Voter population north of Mohawk R. & Barge Canal is not strong enough to out weight NYC southern areas . JMO .... HE knows where his Bread is Buttered....... No LOVE here !

And even better yet, they send him a pristine ship with 1000 beds, and 12 operating rooms, so people that are non- covid can be operated on there, and take the strain off the local hospitals. And they "accidently" send positive cases to the ship and contaminate it.

Sadly, New York is dominated by NYC and Long Island. Unfortunately that area elects some of the worst politicians going. Cuomo is so arrogant and pompous, and he is hated upstate. His record speaks for itself. You had better believe he has his eye on being President; wanted that for a long time.God forbid, then he could kill babies on a national scale. He pretends to be religious, but shacks up in the Governor's mansion. I could go on and on, but the man is unfit to hold any office!

Everything the NY guys on here say is true. The news thinks upstate is 1 hour north of the city. I worked at Remington for 30 years before moving here in Illinois to work for Springfield Armory. Remington hasn't been close to the old Remington since the bankers bought it. Right now the plant is slow, they probably could tool up to make ventilators, if there are enough good engineers left to get it going.
Sad thing is, Remington is the oldest, continuous, manufacturing company in the US. A fine example of how to mis-manage a business. DuPont did a far better job.

chances are once you get on a ventilator, you'll die on one anyhow. But yeah..gotta give it a try anyhow.
