I am afraid I could eat that size too fast just myself. looks good though. I like Dutch over bread flavor best. My wife and I have to ration it ourselves. I know I could put a hurt on that loaf in one sitting.

Good thing this has gone to 9 pages. Ive been making bread since I was 20 but have made a bunch in confinement at the farm. Mine is half whole wheat with one egg, half a beer, olive oil and flax and sunflower seeds.
I don't know how to put up photos on my phone but it looks good and makes great toast.
Long live bread.
Pete Pete...we need that French recipe !! Is it French ??...lol

Ness, yep. 3 cups flour, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp yeast, 1 1/2 cup water. Let rise 8 to 18 hours, I've been going 9 or 10, then bake in a heated dutch oven. I am using a cast iron dutch oven. There's a fair amount of smoke at 450. Wife is looking at enamel dutch ovens. We have an enameled dutch oven. Its great. I think ours is the pioneer woman version. Either way enameled cast is pretty neat stuff

Nessmuck....
Not anybody's recipe but I like grains in my bread. We are seriously spoiled here in France when it comes to bread but I only go to town every 4 days or so now. My favorite thing with coffee in the morning is a couple slices of that toast with a tad of butter and a thin coat of real peanut butter.
Peanut butter should only contain peanuts.

It is good. Alot lighter than my instant yeast breads. i forgot to cut the top of it before baking. I blame the rum.
