I would get a lawyer and do whatever I had to do to ruin the a-holes day, then I would have a dozer put a lane accross their yard and put big stone on it, post your property with no trespassing paint or signs and set up cameras and have them arrested if they hunt your property. If you are going to be a bear, be a grizzly! My grandmother had a lakefront place and there was a steep hill behind it and she had a lane down in front for access and also she could park in back and walk down steps and a big hill. When she got older she could only drive down front to go to her lake place. The neighbors blocked off the lane and said she couldn't use it and terrorized my poor grandmother. Got ugly, us grandkids brought in dump trucks on a Sunday afternoon and put in a nice gravel lane as the neighbors were running around screaming! It was great! Went to court, they lost!

If I have to pay a surveyor, as soon as the line against them is established I’m falling trees along that line to the point a 12 foot Indian won’t be able to see their property.
Just how tall is a 12 foot Indian, anyways ? w 24” taller than a Ten Foot. lol

Your lucky you don't live here. We have landlocked laws and there is millions of acres that can't be accessed because of ownership around a parcel of land. Getting easements here are very hard to obtain. There is land that is great land but can't sell it or hardly give it away because of landlock laws.

Send me some info on this cheap land and is there enough of it I can land a plane on it?

We have the property next to it and their lawyer sent a letter stating if we wanted to access the property in debate, make a road through the property we own that meets the property we are trying to gain access to.
The property That has the access in question is zoned residential. The adjoining property is a wildlife management area that we agreed would not be changed for 5 years.

I do, however the county told me they won’t get involved because it’s a civil matter. I should contact an attorney and have them send them a notice I will be using the access. Hopefully when they show it to their attorney, the attorney will advise them they will lose and to just grant me access.
I’m curious what will happen if I just drive the access and tell them to call the sheriff if they have a problem. I have the survey and it clearly notes a road that they have eliminated.
this is 100% correct, it is not the County's job. if you have a legally established and recorded easement, contact an attorney and continue use of the easement. If he has half a brain, he won't take it to court. if he has a legally established and recorded easement the sheriff has to enforce it.
