Yep , after decades of welfare and countless social programs we have created this mess we have today
It's never gonna get better , only worse
We really need to divide this country into two countries
One where proud Americans will practice SELF responsibility and appreciate hard earned freedom Without the cancerous and parisitic liberal bs.
The losers , whiners , anti American , libtards , snowflakes , woe is me crowd can do whatever the heck they want in their own failed country

losers and whiners......…..(sorry) The first fight will be in the cities of course. I wonder how many will leave the cities and be willing to die in the country? The best case scenario would be if the supply of gasoline was shut off so nobody would get any further than the gas in their tank takes them.

Let's stop programs. We pay we can take. My father told me from small on. No one owes you a living. Why would they stop them? The programs are nothing more than a tool to get votes.

I've been in favor of dividing the country for a long time. The problem is where to draw the lines. The issues are mostly urban vs. rural, not North vs. South or East vs. West. If we did it successfully, we'd end up with 300 little countries - or maybe a highway system running through Free America connecting all the cities of The People's Republic of America.

For a lot of years I have been saying that rewarding irresponsible behavior just creates more irresponsible behavior. End welfare.
The response is always a whole lot of "buts". There is a lot of money to be made by giving away such massive handouts. None of that money is ever saved or invested. It is all spent. There is no incentive for campaign donor's to want an end to it. That welfare all ends up in their pockets.
The cost is more than the handout. Inflates real estate, inflates health care, inflates food costs. Raises the national debt. Creates a whole new class of people that are unhappy with their lives. Blame it on being poor. Instead of creating wealth though they demand more welfare. Vote for Clintons, Obama's and Biden.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

“…I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means.—I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them outof it. In my youth I travelled much, and I observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer. There is no country in the world [but England] where so many provisions are established for them; so many hospitals to receive them when they are sick or lame, founded and maintained by voluntary charities; so many alms-houses for the aged of both sexes, together with a solemn general law made by the rich to subject their estates to a heavy tax for the support of the poor.
Under all these obligations, are our poor modest, humble, and thankful; and do they use their best endeavours to maintain themselves, and lighten our shoulders of this burthen?—On the contrary, I affirm that there is no country in the world in which the poor are more idle, dissolute, drunken, and insolent. The day you passed that act, you took away from before their eyes the greatest of all inducements to industry, frugality, and sobriety, by giving them a dependence on somewhat else than a careful accumulation during youth and health, for support in age or sickness. In short, you offered a premium for the encouragement of idleness, and you should not now wonder that it has had its effect in the increase of poverty. Repeal that law, and you will soon see a change in their manners. St. Monday, and St. Tuesday, will cease to be holidays. SIX days shalt thou labour, though one of the old commandments long treated as out of date, will again be looked upon as a respectable precept; industry will increase, and with it plenty among the lower people; their circumstances will mend, and more will be done for their happiness by inuring them to provide for themselves, than could be done by dividing all your estates among them.”
(Benjamin Franklin, "On the Price of Corn and the Management of the Poor" (1766), Writings (New York: Library of America, 1987), 587-88).

So if this country would be divided in two, who would support the red Republican states?
Right now the red states are on the dole, and the blue states pay for it. The red states mostly pay less in taxes than they receive from the federal treasury.
So who will support the red states to keep them out of third-world nation status?
The funniest thing is they gripe about urban welfare, when they're the biggest welfare recipients of all.
