I watched it. Why is ok to let a drive off gas thief get away but not a guy that was passed out at a Wendy's? He got shot because that cop was angry he couldn't out wrestle a drunk. The only life that was in danger was the drunks.

He got shot because his life was in danger,..I thought they were trained to protect themselves and their fellow officers.

What cooked the goose was 2 shots in the back. To late to change history the cop will have plenty of time to think about it now.

You obviously have't been paying attention. Cops are there for target practice. They will soon be required to have bullseyes on their uniforms.

According those on here I can shoot at or shoot whoever I want and turn my back and should be able to get away until caught again.

I see nothing wrong with either death. Both followed their training and laws. Didn’t realize we had so many trained lawmen on here that know exactly what to do and how to recognize every suspect and their next moves. If all y’all were cops we’d have nothing but rainbows and unicorns.

The way it sounded when it first came out from the DA was that the other officer would be turning states evidence and testifying against the officer that shot. That's what made me raise my eyebrow. I watched the entire video from start to finish. I was wondering what he could be testifying about since it's all on video, every second of it was caught on video. The only thing that came to mind was the guy trying to save his own skin by lying. However, it has now come out that the DA was lying about the officer testifying as states evidence. Gee, a DemoRat lying, who knew?

I haven't seen the videos that Crowder reviews on any news reports .
Not saying they haven't been played , but I haven't seen them , just edited ones , these aren't .

I somewhat agree, but you are forgetting about taking officers weapon (taser with projectile) and pointing it at him and discharged it as he was running. That is what got him killed. Many not understand that a taser may be non lethal in the hands of officers, but if it is taken from an officer, that is a deadly threat. There is something called use of force and levels of force. A cop doesn't use a taser against a suspect with a taser. If someone steals a police car, they can't just say we will pick him up later. That is a serious threat to the public. It all changed when he took the officers taser.

Brooks wasn't just drunk either , he had a taser in him as he ran away and tried to taser the cop .

My feelings are that from now on, if someone is stopped for a DWI (driving while impaired) he/she should be allowed to go as they please. If the said assailant commits a crime after the recorded offense, then he/she can be charged for each offense (starting with the original), AND the original officer is exempt from ALL negligent charges enacted therein. Eff it!

The entire video of the incident is on youtube unedited from the time the police showed up and he was sleeping in the drive thru lane of the Wendys up to the shooting and even the aftermath. It's 1.5 hours long . I think someone posted it on another thread yesterday also.

Actually, It's a 3 shot taser so he had two shots left.

If they're smart, they will just get completely out of the profession, and let CHAZ/CHOPZ handle it!
