Moby Dick was something special. I remember watching with my dad and just being awestruck. I have a couple copies of the book and read it once a year. Still watch it with my dad.

I have liked and disliked a lot of movies, but there is only one that truly affected me. A 1995 miniseries, Buffalo Girls, with Angelica Houston as Calamity Jane Canary. It was about the waning days of the wild west and I was depressed for two days afterward. Only time in my life I have ever felt depressed. It was sad to see the dying of an era.

One of my Sisters snuck me in to see blazing saddles when I was 9 I think. I was sore from laughing.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Old yeller was the first movie I really liked. Red badge of courage was another.

Where the red fern grows is worth watching if you take it with a grain of salt.

My cousinJimmy lost an arm when he was 5. He was grown when the movie Cat Balou was being made. He and Lee Marvin got to playing pool in a local tavern when it was being filmed. Jimmy won a bunch of money from him. Both were drunk and Marvin told my cousin he let him win cause he felt sorry for him. The fight was on and both went to the county jail in Canon City. Marvins head was pretty swolled up and he couldn’t work for a week or so. Anyway after all that I had to go see the movie and I liked it

There are two movies named Of Mice and Men. The first was best I thought.

Only TWO movies made me shed a tear................... Old Yeller and Shindler's List................. One when I was young in Life and one when I was much older in Life............. So I think "Life" has a way with shaping a person around those kind of things.
