Correct me if I'm wrong but in reality I doubt the vast majority of Americans truly feel they have to be armed with a handgun 24/7 to protect their family. I know plenty of Americans who would scoff at the notion. The recent unrest might be a bit of a game changer depending on where you live.
I am one of them that feels there are enough things available anywhere I go to maim or kill in defense should the need arise. That, along with surrounding awareness, is currently sufficient for me to meander comfortably wherever I choose. The immediate family is much the same. Heres the thing,,,its a CHOICE,and to each his own.And thanks to the second amendment,,we have that CHOICE.Me,,Id rather have it and not need it,,than need it and not have it.Also Hobbie,,walk around Baltimore after dark and tell me all the things available to maim and kill the thugs that have guns and knives.Just sayin.

"You have a CHOICE", upstateNY,... Appears by the the way you guys are worried about the election, and being worried about the democrats getting in power and taking away your rights,... that makes them privileges and not rights

Wow did this all of a sudden go sideways? From forum change to gun rights. I believe this is just what the original post is looking at. How do we take the negativity and attacks on people and twist it to this? Think about this guys? I think trap talk is a mental trapping game in print. Watch them set the trap, and then bait and lure until they make the catch. From what is learned by reading T-man, the dumb ones seem to get caught first. Some wring off. Some like cage trapping get caught multiple times. With the colony sets they sometimes catch multiples. From this point of view it is entertaining if you are aware of what's taking place. case in point

So Tom is this the your first time being out of the flock on an issue here? Easy to run with the flock. They will even accuse you of being in a flock for being out of the flock. That's such a flockish response. Good morning Tickturd, no Wooddick, no woodtick.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Biggest change I see is that the big number serious guys are mostly gone. Bogmaster is one of the few exceptions to that. A lot of truly knowledgeable outdoorsmen just dont post, have been banned, and in many cases don't even lurk.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Maybe we just need a safe space thread with nothing but virtual hugs and kisses ..... Exhibit A. Glad you agree ... Think about it ..........it would give the hypersensitive a safe place to hang out. And less headaches for the mods

How do we take the negativity and attacks on people and twist it to this? Think about this guys? Have you really been here for 4 years? I have never in my life saw a forum go sooooo off subject as Tman does. It's like a classic Tman trait, lol. I'm still scratching my head over how a gay post turned into a lengthy debate on the theology of Mormons, lol.
