It just shows the systemic racism NOT. What it shows is that people are people and good overcomes evil. Good folks help others in need never noticing the color of their skin.

What it shows is that the good blacks need to sort out the bad blacks. It's their community and they need to fix it by teaching the bad ones (existing and up and coming): don't commit crime, get a job, take care of your kids, etc.. Chris Rock covered this. He was making a joke but he was right.

I'm not interested in teaching, paying, kneeling or anything else. I would strongly consider donating some airline miles.

Color has nothing to do with the heart of humans. Never has and never will.

Had a gentlemen here at seminary this week, who is from West Africa, tell us of the racial divide among the people of his nation (all African). He had a good comment that they use there, "Saying someone is a racist is just a way to say my way is better than your way."
That is pretty good right there.

Are you telling me with sincere honesty that if you saw 50 white people and 50 black people you would have trouble placing them in groups based on ethnicity?

Blaine has a strong point, if you cant sort out your own households, your own community then quit trying to sort out the country and world, you are incapable. Pull up yourself and community before starting riots to change the country.

Western culture is an advanced education culture. I wouldn't call it white.

My point being, I agree with you, color does not determine heart, it is however a reflection on where a people evolved and peoples evolved differently based on environment and influx of other DNA from Archaic human groups.

If we cannot admit there are physical and mental differences between groups on average then the only explanation for differences in behavior, wealth, status has to be explained by a social construct (racism, generational wealth gap, etc)

There is simply no way to have a cohesive multiracial society if one group constantly has the excuse of being oppressed by the other.

I would consider myself pretty well traveled if we are talking about the U.S and Canada, hopefully Europe soon but not yet. I am unsure what that has to do with anything.

While I can agree with some of this, we get in a pickle when we begin to assess what differences really are. Innate? If so, how so? That's where the advanced educated Westernized thinkers jump in and stir the pot. You know = anthropologists, sociologists... all the folks with a bunch of letters after their names to help figure it all out and put it all in neat ethnocentric piles.

Sorry Donnersurvivor, you know my stance. I'm a believer that all people were created by God as Image Bearers. Yes, there are differences, but that if you and I were the Creator, would we cookie cutter all the y'alls? Heck no, we'd probably make humans of all shapes and sizes to show we can.

But then, nobody would probably notice divine tapestry though, cause they're too busy bickering and fighting over who is who, who is what, and who is from where.
