My impression also Patrice, and I'm picturing a purple stripe in her hair, and lip piercing.

On the cover of The Fur Taker magizine every month says it best "The cruelest thing we can do to wildlife is fail to manage it. People like this speak nothing about an animal starving or freezing to death by mange or suffering from distemper. They know nothing about livestock deprivation, roads and woodlands flooded out by beavers, fox and raccoons ravaged by rabies or pets disappearing. They won't acknowledge that the vast majority of State departments of wildlife support trapping as a means to maintain healthy populations of the animals we harvest, let alone the important data collected from trapper activities every season. If they really had strong beliefs to the welfare of animals, it's unfortunate they don't educate themselves, but that seems to the case with so many these days - ignorance. Thanks for sharing it Paul; good reminder to take a kid trapping!

I have seen some fishing videos where the comments were even more ridiculous. The comments were chastising the anglers after they released the fish by saying that they took the fish away from their families and caused them much fear and discomfort. One of the videos was a young boy who was extremely excited while catching a lake trout through the ice and the other was about a muskie that was caught and released through the ice. I sure hope all the fish recovered happily and returned safely to their families. (sarcasm font)
I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

All of us are dinosaurs in a land who will turn to dust and 10,000 years from now aliens from the planet Nendor, that capture earthlings in the not so big cosmic battle of 2066, will put our encrusted bones and 550's in a museum with little labels under the specimen that reads: "they lived 1,000,000 years ago" anyway, so I say we just trap like it's 1999!
