Product of growing up in the concrete jungle while being brain washed by the wonderful world of Disney.

Some individuals use statistics as a drunk man uses lamp-posts — for support rather than for illumination.

Recently a friend was kindly, but passionately trying to make me understand his thinking that;
Television has made us all much smarter.

I was hung up the whole time he was talking (and getting a bit red faced at me because I was not quite grasping his argument), thinking to myself;
About what exactly?

Filling up the crevices of our hard drive might store more stuff for later retrieval, but I told him; "You're gonna have to help me here and define smarter. Cause.... I think the brain is about how it always is and always will be."

He walked away redder faced, muttering something about how I am not figuring it all out correctly (or some such).

I smiled and hollered as he walked, "Maybe I need to watch more television, you think?"
I got the standard answer of those who think others are stupid.

He tossed back, "whatever man."

See how I irritate my friends.

Paul - thank you for protecting the integrity of your website for those of us who contribute, enjoy, and benefit. Might it be time to permit only registered persons view the material?

The vocabulary, spelling, grammar, sentence structure, and typing made it appear to have been typed by an adolescent person, someone who is emotionally and mentally immature, or all of these options.

I once saw a quote from the PETA organization where they stated it was immoral to take milk from a cow or honey from a honeybee.

I told that to a local dairy farmer who said it shows how stupid these people really are. It would be immoral NOT to take milk from a cow because it would cause a number of diseases such as mastitis for one if you didn't.

I have talked to a few of these nut jobs. They are pro choice when it concerns human abortion.

It seems they don't consider that immoral. Also shows they place a higher value on an animal than a person.

Head to Wall Sd and take exit 127 and go south and just thru the dip in the road follow the trail. Open one gate and continue about a mile you will see the large town. Try to stay on the trail. Good luck

Well it seems last year Hanoi Jane got into a hiss with a vegan protester that was interrupting a climate change strike. Jane said the climate was more important than not eating meat. Jane may be on to something there. Those cows are destroying our climate and just maybe she thinks the solution is to eat our way out of it. Eat those cows and stop this climate warming, lol. She is surely a visionary, that was last year and now the west is burning up. Couldn't possibly be all that old growth turning into a tender box.

Did someone mention crazy ?

It always washes upon our shores from across the pond. There are now countless online FundMe efforts in Europe and Australia that routinely raise over $100,000 each time they feature a pig that needs a home. Edgar Pig received $162,458 as an example. Edgar nows lives a pig life. His story is average these days as entrepreneurs scout out more pigs, and sheep, and goats for FundMe requests. The effort is picking up steam, and online sights now routinely show the scores of "wealthy" animals popping up. It is not uncommon to raise nearly $100,000 if the animal resembles a movie character in some fashion.

Might be a business opportunity for trappers? Catch that mink. Show his friendly face and see to it that he's cared for like Edgar Pig and his pals.

Most people are anti trapping based on their emotions When confronted by the facts they have never heard them before so they go back to what they have been told . I had a friend a twork that would hassle me when ever we would talk about deer hunting during lunch One day another coworked ask me how I made out and the freind started say Bambi Kille rThe HGreat Hunter Did you getRoudolph I said well I can't help but notice you are eating a hamburg He said So waht does tha have to do with any thing I said the difference is I killed my own and you get some one else to do it for you He commented something And that was the ensd of it I thoguht But a few days later he stopped me in the plant and said he had never thought about it like that I remarked that was not mad about just saying how I see it. He siad well I am not planning on going hunting but I wqill leave you alone on the comments about deer hunting I said no hard feeling and I undderstand not everyone is distined to be a hunter So fot some they bvelieve what they hear until some one gives them so information about how we trappers feel about trapping an the many good reaason there are for doing it

I have friends that say there is no way they could kill an animal. they say they don't see how I can. they don't shun me because I do, they just say they couldn't do it.

to people that respond the way this person did I just tell them mother nature is a lot more cruel to animals than trappers or hunters could ever be.

I have seen raccoons that could hardly walk suffering terribly from distemper.
I have seen coyotes dying a painful death due to mange.
everything has to be controlled. hunting and trapping is a lot more humane than mother nature.
