My dad never liked side x sides. He always said he difference between an O/U and a S x S was that, "One is like pointing your finger at something, the other is like pointing with your whole hand." grin

Eh...wot?

Does this count? One just flew into our window and scared the crap out of me. I had to beat my moms cat to it. I thought a tree had landed on the house. laugh

Wa, if you lived closer to me I would hook you up with unlimited amounts of Grouse. I know you would do great work on them!

Lately I have been doing my grouse in the slow cooker with some veggies and different sauce combos. It has been a while but the small game slow cooker meals I really like were tossing a couple grouse a cottontail and a squirrel or two in the slow cooker with some spuds, onions, carrots, celery and some sauce. Nice and tasty and my wife was not fond of the mix so it was all MINE!

The other day. Counted 82 birds during the week. May have seen more we forgot to mark down. We're loaded with them this year,

I shoot a few....

On the wing, of course. No ground pounding or limb swatting.

Ten years ago in the snow. I remember it because I got them with an air rifle. Took two shots and picked up 3 grouse. One was sitting a little ways behind one I shot and got the pass through in the neck.
