Couldn’t take it anymore (leg killing me) so I’m out and didn’t see a thing. Youth rifle hunt was this past weekend. Maybe has them spooked up pretty good.

I was going to post video of going in but lost signal.

Tell me what a terrible hunter I am because I apparently need some motivation.

I have given up the tree stand for hunting from the ground. I have a series of pine trees that I stand behind. Yesterday I hunted from behind a pine that has a trail cam in front of it. It’s the same camera that captured the nice deer I passed on Friday.

Yesterday for the first time, I did some grunt calling. A couple hours later my leg got to hurting so I bailed. Below are photos from that trail cam. There is much to be said for things you don’t know, or want to know.

The grunting and noise of you leaving may have combined to bring him in eh'? Sure looks like he's looking for you! LOL
