It only lasted an hour this past Saturday. Two seasons here now on the eastern shore and he’s 2 for 2. This s one was a previous car crash survivor with a healed broken hock, atrophied hip, healed skull fracture and calcified spot just outside the ribs from a previous shot or fight scar.
He made the shot at 100 yards and looked at me and said “that was a mercy killing” lol. Hit the deer well with his .243 and he went maybe 25 yards.
He’s had a pretty good run as a kid.

April is autism awareness month. Nearly 1 in every 100 children are born with an autism spectrum disorder.. 1 in 100. Stop and think about it...please

nice work
we had a year were everything we shot was car crash survivors.
makes you wish people could watch for deer better while driving if you see the eyes in the ditch there are a lot you can avoid
taught my wife to watch for deer and she sees a lot now , she drives to work through an area with a lot of car kills around the river so far she has seen and slowed down and let them pass
some you may not be able to avoided but I think 90% could be avoided
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

That’s awesome.
Probably the last buck left on Delmarva.
You know, since we don’t have deer here or any waterfowl.
Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

Life can be hard as a deer. Tell him nice shot and lesson learned on a role as a hunter!

Cool, I love deer with odd antlers. Most of the rest look like carbon copies, particularly elk; about the most mundane looking of all the deer species.

That’s awesome.
You know, since we don’t have deer here or any waterfowl. Lol. Yeah there’s no shortage of either! Got up for work this morning to the sounds of duck shooting on the bay!
