For my family being able to faht up a storm has never been a problem...just a highly-developed talent.

Today about 9:30 AM a deer about 200 yards out was staring my way for about 5 minutes in the brush. Put the glasses on it and it was a doe. She came toward me about 20 yards and then one jump back in the brush. There was a couple wind gusts going her way about that time. Right after her coming the same way was the first grey fox I have seen in over a decade. It too stopped and entered the brush in the exact same place. That was the highlight of my 4 hour morning hunt. Tuesday I got 40 minutes in before the rain got heavier. We are putting together plans for a northern last weekend where it will be colder and far fewer deer. Go figure.

When they are nice and loud we refer to it as "Calling an audible."
