Looks like a fairly easy and inexpensive build if one really just wanted one for a project or special mount.
Just happy to be here.

^^^^^^ Trapped4ever "I've worn out a few Trapper Nelson packs over the years, and they "returned the favor" by wearing away at my shoulders!!"
I still have calcium deposits on the outer ends of both of my collar bones mainly due to the shoulder straps of Trapper Nelson packs. Back when I was probably in my 30's my doctor asked me when I had broken my collar bones (the lumps are pretty noticeable), I informed him that I had never broken either of them.

waggler, Yeah, I think they gave me my share of shoulder issues too. Like I mentioned, not to bad for trapping with 50-60lb. loads of traps, but a tad uncomfortable once you get 100+lbs of meat or hides on them. It seems like everybody had these in the 70's and 80's, now I never see people using them anymore. Here is a bit of history, for anyone interested....... https://www.historylink.org/File/10625
