I am okay with legal immigrants who come here to work. High end immigration helps the US. High end immigrants support themselves and pay taxes. If they perform well, green card holders should be allowed to apply for permanent status after a reasonable period of time.

I would think most people would be surprised how many foreign nationals, especially south of the border, are currently serving in the U.S. armed forces. At least those guys will get citizenship for potentially laying their *** on the line for where our flag has been sent. My kid serves with a couple of those types of guys. They are all "U.S. paratroopers" and will bled red "for us" if that happens...
