Mark, the weather channel can't make up it's mind if we get snow or rain up hear. It's sounding more like light snow, but they got fairly warm temps, so it's anyones guess! Drive safe and hope to see you while your here, but understand you will be busy!

I have one like that in 2" metal for my hitch. We used it in Wyoming to skin Antelope. Breaks down in 3 pieces.

Nice!

I thought about making a steel rig but it seemed a little heavy compared to wood. I wanted to shave as much weight as possible due to the amount of dirt I’m taking and the small trailer I have.

A hitch version would work good for outside but the pole barn we will be in wont have room for the truck.

That would be great... I'm sure we'll get tired of eating out of the cooler at some point and head into town and grab a sandwich from Subway. smile Maybe we could connect for lunch one day...

Don't you have Taco Johns in Mi, Mark? One of my favorite fast foods is Hardees. Best fast food burger out there, IMHO!

Lee, we do have Hardee’s and it is a favorite of mine too!

We do not have any Taco John’s here. There are a tome of Taco Bell’s here and in fact my daughter works at one. I tried to explain Taco Johns to her but she wasn't understanding it! Hahaha

You guys aren’t far from me if you’re in the Washington area again. We have had great weather for the most part you guys must have that cloud behind you. We got about 4-5 inches of snow today and then it sleeted on top. It’s 32 degrees and melting now. Talk about a mess. I pulled in the middle of the night last night for the year.

We will be about 30 minutes west of Washington and down around Concordia

It sounds like they got a little snow and ice today but it looks like it was worse to the south and east of there.

Well it has been a fun start to the trip. The roads are fine in the morning when its froze but many become impassable when the temp gets above freezing. The first check yielded two coons. We got many good sets in today so we are optimistic!
We are enjoying the gates and the wide open spaces!
