No snow or cold weather here. Highs around 40 lows around 30. I can't ice fish or snowshoe. Anybody else missing winter. I'm in the process of moving so all my trapping stuff is buried in a storage unit( I didn't think it would take this long). Come on winter I need to get off the couch.

35 to 40s here is the norm this year we had 2 storms but the snow is about gone now. Almost better to have more freezing to help a guy get around beats this mud that makes it tough to reset.

Yes here on NY’s Tug Hill Plateau, highest snowfall east of the Rockies , it’s been pretty mild so far. We only have about 8” of snow on the ground and mild temps as well. Snowmobilers are crying, but 2 have been able to kill themselves already this year. (Alcohol + high rate of speed+ trees = tragedy for their families)

So if this is climate change , I like it.

no birds or such to chase out there?

6 inches of snow and I have to work. birds are done here , squirrel and rabbit left to hunt.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

No snowmobiling, thin ice, half frozen mud and slush ground daytime temps 33 to 35 refreeze at night. Everything I like to do is curtailed to a certain extent. The temps have been on a slow steady increase for ten years or better here. Don't know if it's global warming or the thirty year curve. Either way I'll be pushing up daisies before the winters I liked will ever be around again

Only birds in my neck of the woods are grouse and turkeys. I am to old to climb our hills for grouse and only shoot turkeys out of the yard. I could still shoot turkeys but I am out of tags.

Very little snow and has not hit 0 here yet. Temps are staying about 20 at night and 35 in the day for the last several weeks

Kinda late start here but we have more snow than been in past few years and starting to hit colder temps. Will see how long it lasts. January and February are when I see coldest but not much more snow normally. Ground is not frozen under snow. That happens a lot here.

Wish I had more time to trap....

It has been very dry here too. It had started to snow when I fell asleep. I woke up to a dusting. Only a dusting but I'll take it
