They were imported from China with a load of fancy stone to a quarry near me back in 1998. That's right, we even buy our stone from China. Since then they have spread everywhere. We kill them with a mixture of dawn dish soap and water. It suffocates them. It takes a minute or two buy it kills them. I used to walk around outside in fall spraying them by the hundreds. They haven't been bad the last few years. Now we deal with the spotted lantern fly, another invasive imported near me and now spreading across the Country. Eh...wot?
