John Kerry recently admitted that if the US went to 0 emissions it would make no difference. “Not when almost 90 percent of all of the planet’s global emissions come from outside of US borders. We could go to zero tomorrow and the problem isn’t solved,” Kerry conceded. The whole article. https://nypost.com/2021/01/27/kerry-zero-emissions-wont-make-difference-in-climate-change/If going to zero in the US will not make a difference and China and India are the worlds biggest contributors why doesn't the US cut off buying from these countries till they do better? Easy answer, its not about the climate, its about money and power to the political class.

" the earth is cooling!... everyone panic!" they were wrong. " the earth is heating up! Every one panic!" They were wrong.
We shall call it "Climate Change!" They can't be wrong now..... change is change no matter which direction it goes.

Just one week ago Biden and John Kerry scream we only have 9 more years to live because of global warming . This week the coldest air mass in decades is headed towards the US. Just after the biggest snow storm up north in years (according to the weather channel... That's because AOC told them so.
Heard on the news that the mayor of Chicago is calling for a cease fire in Gaza. Maybe should call for a cease fire in Chicago.

Saw on the morning news where they show the dates where the temps were the records for the present day. Many times the warmest date ever recorded was in the 1800s when they didn't have fossil fuels polluting the air.

If you hav emoney it's global warming . Us poor folk just call it seasons. People forget to look at the calendar when spring starts summer ends. PLus they think ALL winter days are supposed to be zero . Or anything before thanks giving has to be above 65.... For the proponents of global warming, it's called job security.

I live in a region where changes in the climate and land are amplified. I work closely with international permafrost scientists as part of my job. The changes are real guys. It’s not a myth. Aside from what I see with my job the most obvious changes are seen during my own personal trip whether it’s hunting trapping or fishing. There’s areas of permafrost melting and the release of stored carbon only adds to the thaw. Then fall comes and the permafrost doesn’t freeze and the surrounding active layer takes longer to freeze. Say what you will but changes are happening and it’s a direct threat to my own safety as well as the safety of all the active land users up here.

Nothing new. I bet you are in your 30"s But please tell how it threatens your safety. Us lower 48 guys have no clue about up there trying to survive the big thaw. But you did say it was freezing back. Of course the big time miners stripping off the "overburden" to expose the perma frost hasn't hurt it I suppose. One thing they can't prove is the effect of carbon release o the OZONE I remember growing up in the 70's the ozone was going to be gone by 2000. Dang they missed that one by 21 years and counting. If your land is unsafe move. Guess how many folks down here have been up rooted because of rivers changing. Rock slides, mud slides. Heck in eastern Ky every spring during the floods tons of people loose the little shelf their homes are built on . The mountain comes down on them. SO the relocate. Only place I know they are too dumb to move is Cali they just smile and smoke some more weed.......

It threatens my safety by the lack of predictably in travel conditions most notably the ice. I did mention it refreezes but not to the extent that it should be. That means once spring comes the time it takes to pick up where it left off is shorter and the thaw is more severe. Yeah I’m in my 30s but that doesn’t matter for anything. It’s -56 today but spikes in temperature don’t matter much to the big picture. I’m only speaking from my own eye witness experience. I don’t care what politicians are saying or who’s scamming money out of gullible people. With everything in my life I look at all sides and make my own educated decisions.
