Spot on, the states know nr are the cash cows for a large percentage of their income. Hunting big game is an addiction for many of us it's hard to just say no. Lol
Especially when you have many years and a good sum of money invested in building points.

Land owners here in Wy get damage payments for wildlife crop damage and dont have to allow hunting go figure. Close to 70% of Wyoming is public land but as far as western states go have the least access to our public lands. A lot of the politicians are trying to sell off our public land which will be an end to hunting and trapping as we know it now. The rich from out of state and out of country are coming in and buying it up and wanting the public land too.
